Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need mains power?
Yes. The NovaBeam Mini runs from the included power adapter — there is no internal battery. For outdoor use you'll need a power outlet or an extension lead.
How dark does the room need to be?
For the best image, a dark or dimly lit room works best — similar to a cinema. In complete darkness you'll get a sharp, vivid image. In bright rooms, the image will be visible but washed out.
Can I use it with Netflix or streaming apps?
Yes. It runs Android 14, so you can install streaming apps directly on the projector. You can also connect a Fire Stick, Chromecast or Apple TV over HDMI, or mirror from your phone.
How far from the wall do I need to be?
About 1–2 metres for an 80–100" image, and around 3 metres for the maximum 120" image. Works well in most standard-sized rooms.
Can I use this outdoors?
Yes — it's light enough to carry outside and set up in minutes, provided you can reach a power outlet. For the best outdoor experience, use it after dark with a white sheet or outdoor screen.
Is it loud enough without external speakers?
For a bedroom or small room, the built-in speaker is adequate. For larger spaces, pair a Bluetooth speaker for the best experience.

- Express Shipping (Australia) — $15.00 AUD flat, 5–10 business days from dispatch.
- International — $20.00 AUD flat, 10–25 business days from dispatch. Any import duties or taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
- Processing Time — Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Some items ship directly from our overseas manufacturing partners, which is reflected in the delivery windows above.
- Tracking — A tracking link is emailed as soon as your order ships.
